Ira Bormel

Ira Bormel joined Berman Enterprises in 1999. As CFO, Ira oversees the accounting and financial functions for the organization. Additionally, Ira leads the Company’s separate management entity, GDR Group, LLC, which manages the commercial office buildings in Laurel, Beltsville and Manassas, and the commercial retail centers in Laurel and Columbia.

Ira, a Certified Public Accountant, began his professional career in 1982 with Ernst and Young, one of the large international CPA firms, and then served as Controller and CFO for a Consumer Electronics Distributor and as Accounting Manager for a large Pharmaceutical Manufacturer.

Ira lives with his wife and three children in Reisterstown, MD. Ira is an avid sports fan and enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
